Filmmaking Cues from Top Sports Cinematographers
If content is king then style is queen, and sports cinematographers are among the valued creative troop in the entire kingdom. Sports cinematographers possess a unique skill set; they bring a distinct, refined and fresh process to both television and film production. This panel will focus on their particular storytelling method and the benefits of weaving their powerful visual cues, timing, instincts and style into an indie film production. National Emmy Award-winning cinematographers from HBO, Major League Baseball Productions, NFL Films and FOX Sports will describe their creative process in detail and provide a framework of how indie filmmakers can incorporate this style into their productions. The panel and audience engagement will be super interactive, collaborative, fun and very insightful.
