With declining revenues and regulatory hurdles, large pharmaceutical and biotechnology corporations are beginning to look for ways to increase sales of existing drugs and add new sources of revenue. Health IT startups have the potential to solve many of these hurdles, yet on the whole, big pharma has been slow to adopt new innovative technology.
