Lollapalooza founder and Jane’s Addiction founder/front man, Perry Farrell, has been one of the most enigmatic and influential artists in alternative rock music since 1988. His impact has been recognized as the impetus for such major artists as Foo Fighters and Rage Against the Machine, as well as the explosion of the modern festival culture and lifestyle.

A longtime progenitor of electronic music, Farrell’s latest project, Perry/Etty vs, includes his wife Etty Farrell on vocals and centers around the ability to collaborate with top producers and DJs as they battle for the perfect mix of beats and sound over melody and vocals.

At this year’s SXSW, Perry has recruited legendary dance producer and DJ Joachim Garraud to share the stage as Perry/Etty vs Joachim Garraud. Garraud, who has work with the likes of David Guetta, David Bowie, Kylie Minogue, Culture Club and many others has achieved major acclaim in EDM circles worldwide.

In his usual fashion, Perry has curated an incredible bill of performers and DJs to complete an amazing evening of music for this special SXSW showcase at Emo’s on Friday March 14th. Top talent like Thievery Corporation, RAC, and ††† (Crosses), as well as newcomers Doja Cat and Richoshëi and more will perform DJ and live sets in a unique visual setting including the latest in video mapping technology.
