Formed in Los Angeles, California in 2009, THE BIXBY KNOLLS have brought an original and tastefully diverse sound to the modern scene for the past couple of years. Powered by fuzz-driven sonics, heart-stomping rhythms and soul-awakening anthems and melodies, 'The Knolls' do not go unnoticed for those that witness their aural craft whether it be played from a phonograph or the stage. The four piece collective shine a different light on the 'indie' sound and give hope to the survival of guitar driven pop.

The Bixby Knolls resume includes a month long residency at L.A.'s premiere underground venue, THE ECHO. They have been direct support for U.K. indie sensations, THE VACCINES and creation records legends, SWERVEDRIVER. The Knolls have successfully toured Mexico in the summer of 2013 and shortly thereafter released their debut full-length record titled 'NEAR & UNDEAR'. The album was recorded at the famed SOUND FACTORY STUDIOS in Hollywood, California and was produced by JOE CARDAMONE (Icarus Line frontman) along with world class sound engineer, GREG GORDON.

Now armed with the debut album and a vivacious hunger to spread their melodic gospel, The Bixby Knolls plan to take the fruits of their labor across borders and oceans throughout the year of 2014 and beyond including an east coast tour and a return to Mexico in the upcoming months.
