Maica Mia is an experimental rock duo from Montreal, consisting of Maica Armata and Jonny Paradise. Recently joined on bass by Mauro Pezzente (Godspeed You! Black Emperor), they blend together an arresting mix of terrestrial samples, minimalist guitar, explosive drumming and raw vocals, conjuring up girding space-balladry supreme. Their new record, 'des era' came out January 28, 2014.
