Jaw Jam is the musical vision of 21 year-old New Jersey native Will DiMaggio. DiMaggio has quickly established his own niche through a masterful combination of chopped R&B samples, swooning pads and off-kilter drum patterns. What has resulted is a forward-thinking bass project with both the special awareness of such luminaries as the Night Slugs and the R&B attitude of popular UK garage and R&B contemporaries. DiMaggio’s unique approach to bass music has provided him a chance perform across the US and abroad, garnering support from the likes of A-Trak, Disclosure, Ryan Hemsworth, Bonobo, and Todd Edwards.

His late 2012 debut "Untitled" EP garnered a large and positive reaction, leading DiMaggio to team up with Aberdeen’s Tuff Wax records for a vinyl release of infective house groove “The Truth.” Since, DiMaggio worked with Symbols Recordings head Kastle to release a three track digital EP featuring other-worldly vocalist Kiki Hitomi (of King Midas Sound).

In the club setting, Jaw Jam experiments with his vast collection of deep and hypnotic club rhythms. An avid record collector, DiMaggio weaves his signature tracks into an array of skillfully curated house, bass, hip hop, and soul flavours so to both provide a ever-changing live experience and reference the smooth, sultry style of his own productions. His prowess as a selector landed him a weekly spot on radio station RWD.FM among the likes of MORRI$ and Mike G, as well as gigs across the US, Canada, and Europe.
