Tensnake aka German DJ, producer, and Mirau label-head Marco Niemerski gained international notoriety with the 2010 dancefloor conquering smash-hit “Coma Cat.”

Born in Hamburg in 1975, Marco grew up listening to disco, soul, boogie, funk, freestyle and boogie, Italo-pop and the finer cuts of 80s pop, from Prince, to Simple Minds to Prefab Sprout. As he grew older he went through a Mod-period before finding and embracing more dancefloor-inspired influences from Larry Levan to Junior Boys Own, Romanthony to Masters of Work. These myriad influences combine to create a sound that is uniquely his own.
