No Such Thing As TMI in Digital Health

#sxsw #DigitalTMI

Your health story has gone from a scatter of hand-written notes with a sketchy plot to a digital digest with volumes yet to come. And for the first time, you’re one of the authors. Your story is comprised of electronic health records, personal health records, self-tracking and mobile monitoring data, and social interactions, all connected by APIs. Is it TMI? Short story, novel, or blog: The format is up to you, but the benefits of collecting, accessing and connecting health data digitally are undeniable. In this session, Kaiser Permanente's Madhu Nutakki and Aashima Gupta will discuss how technology and meaningfully curated data are enabling health and wellness. Presenters will discuss the latest digital trends, including biometrics, mobile, wearable devices, APIs, and the platforms that bring them all together–with examples of what’s working now and what’s around the corner in health care. Let's have a discussion and write the next chapter of the digital health story together. This track is sponsored by Kaiser Permanente.
