Mentor Sessions provide an opportunity to receive more personalized input than a larger panel can offer. Sessions are scheduled in ten-minute increments. Online sign-ups for Mentor Sessions will close the day before they occur. You can still sign up in person if slots are available.

Brett began his career in the music industry as an 18-year-old intern at Interscope Records in the international department. He continued at Interscope on an “on and off” basis until he graduated college. In late 2005 he began to manage Cold War Kids and in the wake of his success he accepted an invitation to work with at Monotone Mgmt in 2007. Over the last 5 years his roster has changed and grown. His roster currently consists of Foster The People, Cold War Kids, James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem) and Richard Swift.
Brian Beck is a manager at Flatiron/Borman Management that represents My Morning Jacket, Jim James, Deep Sea Diver, Flight Of The Conchords and more.
Jonathan Weiss is a Los Angeles based music supervisor for film and television. He is currently music supervising the Bunim-Murray Production, The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons, airing on MTV. Jonathan also recently music supervised the seventh season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians on the E! Entertainment, Love Games, for the Oxygen Channel, Living Lohan and The Challenge: Battle of the Exes for MTV. Other music supervision credits include Interscope Presents The Next Episode for Showtime Entertainment, The Education of Max Bickford for CBS, U.C. Undercover for NBC, Celebrity Undercover for MTV and the theatrical release, “The Big Tease,” for Warner Bros. Pictures. Jonathan is also currently working with composers writing for TV.

Matt Hanks is a Vice President at Shore Fire Media in Brooklyn, where he has worked for thirteen years. Some of his current and recent clients include Bon Iver, Neko Case, Grizzly Bear, Nick Lowe, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Graham Parker, St. Vincent, Mavis Staples, , Trombone Shorty, and venues including The Capitol Theatre, Hill Country Live and The Iridium.
Prior to working at Shore Fire he was a publicist at Autotonic in Memphis, TN, where his clients included labels like Drag City, Thrill Jockey and Revenant.
