The Sam Willows is a celebration of life, a melting pot of sounds from dirty blues to gospel-funk, pop-rock to indie-folk, and random images of cats. Born out of a need to make unadulterated, unbound music, the quartet of Narelle, Ben, Jon and Sandra dug up various soundbites of their eclectic music history, forging their own path into the aural atmosphere whilst managing to be only slightly confused. Drawing inspiration from acts like Bon Iver, Mumford & Sons, Joss Stone and Jack White, they craft a sound that bleeds for everyone; the starving, artist, the sedentary soldier. They recognize the rabid power of music and the shame of pigeonholing, and promise to, with all their might, tear down the walls of disparity among love and art. The band is currently waist-deep in the idea-swamp of their first EP, but would still love to take you out for coffee.

The Sam Willows has taken the Singapore music scene by storm with their unique sound and hope to spread their band of music regionally and internationally.
