Next Stage: YouTube Refreshed: How to Design for What the World is Watching
YouTube hosts one of the largest, most diverse collections of voices and faces ever seen or heard in human history. On Dec 1, 2011, YouTube launched a new design for managing that content—the biggest update since the site went online in 2005. Team members involved its design, research, and development will discuss the intent and impact of the project, the design principles and research techniques that shape the new YouTube, as well as some universal lessons of designing for all users.
