Colin has begun recording his 3rd full-length album and has the wind in his sails. With his 2010 release Goodnight Lane, Uncut Magazine called Colin "a surefire star in the making." Mojo described him as "a West Texan Nick Lowe." In 2011, he hit the road, winning fans with his Buddy Holly meets The Clash songwriting style. Having been raised in Lubbock TX, and having learned the art of putting heart into a song by his father Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Colin has brought the spirit of west Texas music to a whole new ground. Austin American Statesman's Michael Corcoran put it best when he said, of Colin's album "These are songs you're gonna want to hear live."
