Animal Farm and Ticketing

#sxsw #animalfarm

In George Orwell's seminal novel, Animal Farm, the animals rebel against the farmers, taking over the farm to build a utopian society. But the dream devolves into a nightmare as the pigs gain power and build a more oppressive state than existed before. The ills and injustices of Ticketmaster have been decried for a long time, but are the new players offering hope? Or, through unreliable solutions, high fees, and poor service, are they plunging the industry into greater despair?
