STUART COUPE is director of Sydney, Australia based Laughing Outlaw Records and Management. Stuart has managed artists such as the Hoodoo Gurus and Paul Kelly. He is the author of The Promoters, a look at the concert promoting business in Australia. As a promoter he has toured artists such as Lucinda Williams, Guy Clark, Rosanne Cash, Dick Dale, Link Wray and Harry Dean Stanton.
Ian James has been the Managing Director of Mushroom Music Publishing for the past 25 years. Mushroom Music Publishing is the most successful independent music publisher in Australia and represents many of the most prominent songwriters in Australia and New Zealand. He is also the Deputy Chairman of Australasian Performing Rights Association and Chairman of the Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners Society. Prior to joining Mushroom Music, he was at APRA for 10 years, managing the Licensing Department and the Southern Region office. He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Applied Psychology) from the University of New South Wales.

Asho left home and school at an early age to sing in punk rock bands. He realized quickly that it was better for everybody that he stayed on the other side of the stage. In the 90’s he managed bands and started up the indie punk label Emily Records.
Asho annoyed everyone in the Brisbane music scene for a few years before getting a start in the call centre at Polygram Records in 1991. He spent the next two decades working at independent and major records labels in Brisbane and Sydney and has held positions in A&R, Marketing, Promotions, Publicity, International Licensing and Sales.
2010 started with Footstomp Music taking shape. Footstomp is a Music Services Company specializing in artist, project and event management, and artist mentoring. Footstomp manage BUSBY MAROU, GLENN RICHARDS (Augie March), INLAND SEA and KING CANNONS.
Asho also scored the great coup as Executive Programmer for BIGSOUND and has been part of the team that delivered the most successful event in BIGSOUND’s ten year history.
2011 has started with Footstomp signing a label deal with Warner Music Australia. Footstomp Records have signed BUSBY MAROU and THE MEDICS. Both of whom are quickly finding their way into the consciousness of the Australian music community.
Asho is proud to have worked closely with hundreds of artists including the likes of ROBBIE WILLIAMS, POWDERFINGER, THE LIVING END, PAUL KELLY, THE GO-BETWEENS, SARAH BLASKO and MUMFORD & SONS. He is getting more obsessed about music with age.
Justin Cosby is Head of A&R and a founding member of Inertia, Australia’s leading independent full service sales, marketing and distribution company in the territory.
