The Musician's Survival Guide

#sxsw #survival

Many independent musicians are unaware of the plethora of arts-business services, programs, and resources that exist to directly support their artistic efforts. There are fundraising programs that offer a way to raise donations and apply for grants that might otherwise be out of reach. And insurance, which can be a burden to tackle. There are professional development and technical assistance programs for musicians, producers offered through local, state, and national organizations, where musicians can simultaneously advance their careers and serve their arts community by being civically engaged.
