Pradeep joined Nielsen upon its acquisition of NeuroFocus in 2011. Pradeep founded NeuroFocus in 2006, which quickly became the world leader in the rapidly-growing neuromarketing research field.
Pradeep has had a highly successful entrepreneurial career, with multiple marketplace successes in the Silicon Valley. He founded Meridian Consulting, a leader in the field of strategic marketing and corporate governance consulting. Pradeep is also the founder of BoardVantage, providing web-based corporate governance platforms for boards of directors.
Prior to founding Meridian, Pradeep was a scientist at General Electric Corporate Research and Development where he worked extensively with GE global businesses. While at GE, Pradeep worked on medical technologies, satellite navigation systems, and other classified technologies. Pradeep’s awards and honors include the Great Minds Award by the Advertising Research Foundation. He was also named “Person of the Year” by the US-India Business Council.
Pradeep is the author of “The Buying Brain,” and is widely recognized as the world’s expert on the application of neuroscience to the world of business.
Dr. Pradeep holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
Derek Halpern burst onto the marketing scene in 2011, and built the wildly popular marketing blog Social Triggers. Known for his no-nonsense approach to getting traffic, gaining leads, and making sales, Derek has been told that he gives “insanely practical advice” that almost anyone can implement.
Derek is also known for managing all of the marketing efforts for the world-class Thesis Theme Framework. Prior to that, he was “behind the scenes” of several popular blogs, one of which attracted more than 1,000,000 views in a single day.
Roger Dooley is author of Brainfluence, publisher of the blog Neuromarketing, and a frequent speaker on advanced marketing topics. He is the founder of Dooley Direct, a marketing consultancy, and co-founded College Confidential, the leading college-bound website. That business was acquired by Hobsons, a unit of UK-based DMGT, where Dooley served as VP Digital Marketing and continues in a consulting role.
