Seventy highschool students agreed to be locked down for 24 hours to write, shoot, and edit a short film. Come see the product of this madness screened at Vimeo Theater for The Austin School of Film's annual Youth M.A.F.I.A. Program, on March 15th (11am). Normally standing-room only, so get your seats early! Films are judged according to their story, technical merit, and the filmmaker's ability to incorporate proscribed guidelines. Categories include Best Use of Prop and Best Cinematography. All participants of M.A.F.I.A. receive certificates of participation and coupons for discounted ASoF courses.
