Nominated for Outstanding Debut at this year's BAFTAs, "Black Pond" tells the story of an ordinary family who are accused of murder when a stranger dies at their dinner table. Two-time BAFTA winner Chris Langham stars as bumbling father Tom Thompson and inimitable British comedian Simon Amstell makes his film debut as a sinister psychotherapist. Will Sharpe, 25, and Tom Kingsley, 26, are BAFTA-nominated directors who started by making a 30 minute short film in Japanese called Cockroach in 2009. "Black Pond" is their first feature. It has been nominated at the British Independent Film Awards and Evening Standard Film Awards in the UK.
