At College of Hip Hop Knowledge the mission is to foster a paid and knowledgeable hip hop community in Austin, Texas. Founded in 2015 by Big Mic and Jsun The Prophesor it has been dedicated to empowering artists and helping them find their sound. CHHK's monthly showcase, Fresh Fridaze, has been held at Independence Brewery for 5 years and recently was awarded a best of Austin and a nomination for an Austin Music Award for best residency. In 2017 CHHK threw a 2 day festival called Rhyme Time Fest featuring over 60 acts on 2 stages. CHHK brought it's showcase on the road in 2022 and toured around the southwest region.
