Infinite Food with Microbes

Mar 12, 2017

11:00am – 12:00pm CT

Genetic engineering is a tool that can unlock infinite potential in our food. We're working to democratize synthetic biology for food using microbes. Microbes are tiny exponential biofactories that can be made to produce practically any delicacy in the world. Using synthetic biology we can enhance food to increase nutrition, modify flavor, and satisfy hunger for the growing global population. By leveraging the power of developing communities, we are able to use microbes to tackle problems of malnutrition worldwide.
