Members Cameron Others and 7evin have built a strong relationship with their love, Music. Taking notes from their personal favorite artists that ranges from Nirvana, Prefuse 73, Portishead and Pearl Jam to DJ Shadow, The Roots, Rass Kass, Björk and Joy Division. Over the years the duo has experimented with sounds by manipulating instruments in ways no other song writing team has conceived. With that they built a sound bank that breaks the boundaries of music scape. Taking a page out of everyday life and using that as a muse to compose music; Which is what music has been about from the beginning…right? But what Tel Cairo adds to that history is the sounds from every day things we take for granted. For instance; a heartbeat, they have created a sound for silence, soft and angst melodies expressing the up’s and down’s of life, to Lo-fi tones with intelligent verses of love gained, questioned and lost.

Tel Cairo dedicated 2 years on their upcoming four (4) album release titled “Black Is a Tuesday Morning”, creating and fine tuning their definition of self-expression. The featured artists on the album where handpicked over years of studio sessions. They were more than just fellow artists, they became family. Tel Cairo looks deeper into the minds of a singer and emcee. They pull out the defining features of what the significant artists holds in their soul.
