Butch Walker‘s highly anticipated seventh full-length album Afraid Of Ghosts, will be released February 3 via Dangerbird Records. Produced by recent fellow GRAMMY nominee Ryan Adams at his PAX AM Studios in LA, the album features friends & special guests including Bob Mould and Johnny Depp.

Walker spent a year writing the reflective Afraid of Ghosts and four days recording, exactly one year after the passing of his father. Walker’s father “Big Butch” was his best friend, confidante and the inspiration for many of his creations, including “Father’s Day.” While playing the song for first time audiences across the country, Walker’s dedication and the track itself resonated deeply with listeners. In addition to the latest Afraid of Ghost offering, Walker also recently revealed his acoustic take of the smoldering “Bed On Fire.”

Walker recently wrapped a US tour supporting Ryan Adams with four triumphant sold-out shows at Carnegie Hall and Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Both recorded and live, Walker has proved to crowds across the country his undeniable spirit. With his remarkably diverse resume that includes everything from captivating solo performer to GRAMMY and CMA nominated producer, Walker’s new LP shows both skill and tenderness.
