In their new band, Sihasin (Navajo for ‘hope’) Jeneda and Clayson have created an explosive sound out of just bass and drums, inspiring their listeners with a hard punk backbone, softened by folk, world and kept thumping by pop.
And so far it seems to be working…
The pair have won just about every award they can on the American Indian music scene, for their Ed Stasium produced album Never Surrender and are now mainstreaming with a Native American Showcase at SXSW, hot on the heels off last year, where the crowds are still humming along to ‘You Can’t Take Away My Hop...

They have recently been featured in La Figaro, Arizona Highways and the Tribeca award-winning, Sigur Ros music director Alma Har’el has just made a short movie about the band getting ready for SXSW.
