Pony Boy

67021

Pony Boy is Marchelle Bradanini, a sultry songwriter with seductive vocals who isn’t afraid to explore her dark side. With twangy guitars and smoky melodies, her music conjures up images of the desolate landscapes of the old west, littered with danger and mystery. Having released various singles over the past year with music featured on such TV shows as Nashville and as well as MTV, Vice, Nylon, Entertainment Weekly and playing everywhere from Alabama to England to Australia, Pony Boy continues to win over audiences and critics alike with her beautifully eerie sound.

Her upcoming debut EP, The Devil In Me, was recently recorded on an 8 track tape machine in Nashville by the production duo of Cosmic Thug (Deer Tick, Middle Brother, T Hardy Morris).

“Sultry, smoky and soulful vocals ... and songs that explore the myth of the Old West and heartache make for an all-original junkyard country meets southern gothic soul sound.” Lucky Magazine

Pony Boy possesses a "smokey croon that could rival Cat Power…channeling the romance of Patsy Cline, the blues of Gram Parsons and the balladry of Tom Waits." Buzz Bands LA

"Dusty Springfield-worthy pop melodies." American Songwriter

Her music is “the sonic version of the toaster Instagram filter–whiskey-soaked and nostalgic, while still feeling completely of-the-moment.” –Nylon Magazine

He songs “recall classic American country songwriting at it’s finest. We’re talkin’ dark and sultry vocals tangled with the dusty desolate open roads of the old and wild West.” Alan Cross
