VP, Artist Development and Management
88 Rising

Ben “Smiles” Ezaki is a Grammy winning, multi-platinum music executive who has worked in management, publishing, records, and touring for some of the music industry's top companies, all while building several companies of his own. Starting off as a touring musician in punk bands on the Vans Warped Tour Circuit, Ezaki left the road and the stage to try his hand at artist development as a producer. After amassing +100M streams and landing major record deals for several of his artists, Ezaki began touring with his artists, performing and managing tours from theaters to arenas. After a long stint touring Ezaki took an artist management position at ROC NATION where he worked across the entire management department alongside the General Manager, and was the manager for many A List clients such as Nipsey Hussle, jetsonmade, The-Dream, Jozzy, Kaash Paige and more. After ROC NATION, Ezaki was recruited as an A&R to come help build 300ENT’s publishing division from the ground up. During Ezaki’s stint at 300 he was responsible for marquee signings such as Sean Momberger (prod “Not Like Us”), Spencer Jordan (writer “Not The 1975”), and Hunxho, along with others. Ezaki now sits as Vice President of Artist Management and Development for global music company 88 Rising where he works across all of the hip hop and r&b acts such as Rich Brian, Warren Hue and more, and is spearheading global ventures and initiatives with the company such as a collab with clothing brand BAPE and a compilation album with the company’s festival HEAD IN THE CLOUDS. Founded in 2019, Ezaki still runs his own company, SPACEBOY, alongside client jetsonmade, where they are responsible for developing artists and producers such as ANYCIA, PG RA, 22daBoat, Solomon, liltyh, 800Kay, Neeko Baby, and more. Ezaki also continues to manage longtime clients Benny The Butcher and Westside Gunn with his partners Chace Infinite and Kyambo “Hip-Hop” Joshua for AGENCY 78.
