Geovanni Flores

Geovanni Flores is a Mexican American singer and songwriter born in North Carolina with
cultural roots from Mexico and Honduras. He is the songwriter and lead singer for Los Primos
del Este, a band he formed in 2017 along with five other members. The band is one of the main
exponents of the “norteño con sax” genre, but they also are famous for their chameleonic
approach to music, including rhythms like norteño, sierreño, country corridos, and cumbias. With
their first hit, “No es mentira” Los Primos del Este reached 9x platinum, and their song “Mami” is
an ongoing viral breakthrough with more than 22k posts on TikTok and keeps growing.
