Marc-Etienne Ouimette

Marc-Etienne Ouimette leads global AI policy at AWS. With extensive experience advising organizations and governments, he's a published author on R&D, industrial policy, and technology governance. He serves on the B7 advisory committee and previously chaired the MTL Centre for GPAI, sat on the WEF's Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution board, and advised Tortoise Media. He's delivered keynotes at prestigious forums including the Rockefeller Foundation, Global AI Summit, B7 summit, and InterAmerican Development Bank. Before AWS, Ouimette headed Public Policy at Element AI and practiced as a corporate lawyer at a major Canadian firm.
