Alexis Garcia
Alexis Garcia is the co-founder of Brass Knuckle Films, a joint venture between Robert Rodriguez's Troublemaker Studios and Garcia's CAT5. Garcia founded CAT 5, an action film finance and production label backed by Fifth Season. The first film produced and to be released under the CAT5 banner is upcoming A WORKING MAN, directed by David Ayer from a script by Sylvester Stallone and starring Jason Statham, coming to theaters via Amazon/MGM on March 28. 2025. Previously Garcia was EVP of Fifth Season. As one of the original partners of the company, he built and ran the Film Group to become a prolific film supplier to theatrical distributors and streamers (40+ movies financed and/or produced over 4 years). Garcia’s titles under his tenure include SXSW Audience Award winner THE PEANUT BUTTER FALCON, SXSW Narrative Spotlight Audience Award winner THE LONG GAME, 80 FOR BRADY, and Michael Bay's AMBULANCE. Garcia also oversaw and is an executive producer on FRIENDSHIP, starring Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd and having its U.S. premiere at this year's SXSW. In his prior role at WME/Endeavor Content, Garcia worked as a talent agent packaging and selling films and advised financiers on their entertainment strategies, including work on such films as THE FAVOURITE, THE NICE GUYS, and DRIVE. Throughout his career, Garcia has consulted and developed programs for corporate clients ranging from The NFL to the Colombian Film Commission and oversaw the China film and TV practice on behalf of Endeavor/WME. Garcia earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law, and his B.A. in English and Theatre from Vanderbilt University. Prior to joining Endeavor Talent Agency in 2007, Garcia was a transactional attorney at O'Melveny & Myers and Sheppard Mullin Richter Hampton. He lives in Miami with his wife Tracy, children Noa and Ozi, and Frenchton Busta.
