Max Ufberg is a senior editor at Fast Company, overseeing the tech section. As a reporter, Max focuses on tech policy and has covered the partisan division around the federal government’s top cybersecurity agency, a new “anti-woke” university in Austin, and Frank McCourt’s bid to buy TikTok from ByteDance. Max's writing has appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Wired, and The Guardian. He is the recipient of two Society of Professional Journalists awards and his 2016 essay on diners was anthologized in Best Food Writing.
