Angela Guzman

Angela Guzman is a Colombian-American UX design leader and public speaker based in Silicon Valley, California. She is best known for co-designing the original set of Apple emoji. Over the last 17 years, she has focused on user experience, interaction and visual design. Prior to joining Zoom, she has led and contributed to design teams at Apple, Google, Airbnb and Pinterest, and was also the founder of a real-time digital education platform. Angela has over 30 design patents and holds a BFA and MFA in Industrial and Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. Additionally, she has been featured in a number of national and international media outlets including WIRED Magazine, CNN International, the BBC and TEDx.
