Once a lawyer in New York City, Jonathan Lisco began his television career writing for the Emmy Award-
winning series NYPD Blue. He wrote and produced numerous episodes of The District, Jack & Bobby, and
K-Ville, which he created and which was nominated for an NAACP Award. Lisco won a Peabody Award
for writing and executive producing the acclaimed series Southland. He executive produced and ran the
critical darling Halt and Catch Fire. He created and executive produced the hit series Animal Kingdom,
which ran for six seasons. Lisco is now writing, executive producing, and co-showrunning Yellowjackets.
Lisco also directed an episode this season. Yellowjackets won the Critics Choice Super Award for Best
Horror Series. It also won the GLAAD Award. The series has been nominated for a Peabody Award, a
Gotham Award, and numerous Television Critics and Hollywood Critics Association Awards. With Ashley
Lyle and Bart Nickerson, Lisco received the 2022 Showrunner of the Year Award at the Banff World
Media Festival. Yellowjackets has been nominated for ten Emmy Awards, including Best Drama and Best
Writing for a Drama. Season 3 of Yellowjackets is currently streaming on Paramount+ with Showtime.
