Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson are the sensational creators, showrunners, writers, and executive producers of the hit Showtime drama series, Yellowjackets.

Yellowjackets season one was nominated for seven Emmy® Awards, including “Outstanding Drama Series” and two for “Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series.” The show was nominated for “Best Drama Series” by the Critics Choice Association and “Best Drama” & “Best New Series” by the Writers Guild of America. It was also nominated for a prestigious Peabody Award by unanimous vote. Highly regarded as one of the Best TV Shows of 2021, Yellowjackets holds a rare 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The second season premiered on March 26, 2023, to critical and public acclaim, becoming Showtime’s most-streamed second-season debut and a 10-year record high for the network. The season also earned three Emmy® nominations, including “Outstanding Drama Series.”

The highly anticipated season three premiered on February 14, 2025.

Prior to Yellowjackets, Bart and Ashley served as co-executive producers on AMC’s Dispatches From Elsewhere with Jason Segel and wrote and produced Netflix’s Narcos and Narcos: Mexico. The duo also developed The Big Empty at ABC Family and wrote for three seasons on The CW’s The Originals.

Ashley and Bart met in the early 2000s on the East Coast, where their writing partnership began. They are married and currently reside in Los Angeles.
