Paul Jensen

Paul Jensen is a Naval Academy graduate and Navy pilot who deployed worldwide in support of
the Global War on Terror. Now a Navy Reserve Captain, he serves as Director for Navy Emergency Preparedness for FEMA Region 6.

After a decade in the active duty Navy, Paul transitioned to media production, earning a degree
from USC Film School before co-founding Best Medicine Productions, where he produced films like Natural Selection, Better Watch Out, and Scenic Route.
He later served as Executive Director of the Texas Media Production Alliance (TXMPA), leading statewide advocacy efforts to expand Texas’ film and television incentives. Funding for the Texas incentive program expanded by 525% during Paul’s tenure at TXMPA.

Paul has returned to producing as part of Lucky #8 Films, most recently producing the sports
documentary, Luv Ya, Bum!, which will be premiering at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival. He currently lives in Austin and spends weekends reading scripts and chauffeuring his three kids.
