Sandra Carlino

Sandra Carlino lives in Connecticut with her husband George. In 2015, Sandra noticed that her husband started exhibiting memory and thinking problems, such as forgetfulness and extreme fatigue. In May of 2019, George was officially diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease. Unfortunately, this was not Sandra’s first experience helping care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease because her father was also diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease at 60 years old and passed away five years later. Sandra has used her experience as a caregiver to help raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease.
