Sydney Ferleger
Sydney Ferleger is the President and Executive Producer of The Music Playground and The Diner, two award-winning music houses at the forefront of sync for advertising, branded content, TV, film, promos, trailers, video games, and beyond. A recognized industry leader, she oversees everything from bespoke composition to full-scale music supervision, seamlessly bridging creativity with strategic licensing solutions.
Under her leadership, The Music Playground and The Diner provide comprehensive music and audio solutions—including original composition, band and artist licensing, production music, supervision and clearance, and full audio post services.
With over a decade in the advertising space, Sydney is one of the most well-rounded professionals in the game—her career spans music, pre-viz, live-action production, post-production, and yes, even singing on a broadcast McDonald's commercial. Most recently, she spearheaded a full-scale music supervision and brand partnership project with rapper Logic for a powerful gun trafficking prevention initiative called Stop the Iron Pipeline. This included everything from executive producing the live action production and post-production of the powerful short film and PSA to overseeing music supervision, clearance, licensing, DSP track release, and an ongoing 360° PR and social media rollout.
Beyond her work, Sydney is an active voice in the industry, serving as a member of the Rolling Stone Culture Council and a guest lecturer at the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports, and Entertainment. She has been tapped for numerous entertainment and music-industry judging panels, as well as mentorship and thought leadership panels, where she shares her expertise to shape the future of sync and music licensing. She also hosts industry events, including an all-female panel of respected sync licensing experts at The Music Playground's Soho studio in partnership with the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, further fostering education and collaboration in the field
When she’s not leading groundbreaking projects, you’ll find her at a live show or on the slopes—always chasing the next great adventure!
