Hugh Francis

Hugh Francis is a technologist, founder and believer of humane values in business. As head of Sanctuary Computer, he created a worker-owned creative technology studio based on entrepreneurial empowerment and socially conscious client work. Francis’ experience in design and technology spans clients like Figma, The Light Phone and Mill and companies like Gin Lane. He has shared his insights at venues like Yale School of Art, The META Foundation and The School of Visual Arts. He lives in New York City and holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Queensland.
