Sarah Mae Jennings

Sarah Mae Jennings is a licensed attorney and policy advocate passionate about access to justice and legal system reform. Her current work focuses on closing the access to justice gap in Texas. She teaches at her alma mater Texas Law and trains judges across the state. Previously, Sarah Mae was the policy director at a nonprofit in Texas, a public defender in New Orleans, a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cameroon, and a standup comic wherever she could get stage time. Her dopamine menu includes reading, writing, hiking, and practicing yoga. Her favorite vacation was hiking 500 miles across Spain on El Camino de Santiago. Sarah Mae is a graduate of the LBJ Women’s Campaign School, Black Swan Yoga’s 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program, Texas Law, and the University of Georgia.
