
Lynn Wendt, PhD
Dr. Lynn Wendt is a Distinguished Scientist at the Idaho National Laboratory and the Director of the Bioenergy Feedstock National User Facility. Dr. Wendt holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Minnesota, a master's in biology from Idaho State University, and a Ph.D. in environmental science from the University of Idaho. Dr. Wendt is a bioenergy research expert in post-harvest physiology of biomass storage systems, and she has pioneered the development of biomass and algae material storage and handling systems that stabilize materials while increasing biomass value during short- and long-term storage. In her current role, Dr. Wendt is working with partners across the bioenergy sector to derisk the scale up of the bioeconomy.
