Dr. Michael E. Webber is a professor of mechanical engineering at UT Austin. His unique perspective comes from deep experience in both academia and the private sector. He previously served as CTO of Energy Impact Partners, a $5B cleantech/climate tech venture fund, and Chief Science & Technology Officer at ENGIE, a major global energy company. Webber has authored/co-authored 600+ publications (including 5 books) featured in the NYT, WSJ, Washington Post, Scientific American, Nature, PBS, and Amazon Prime. He holds 6 patents and is a recognized energy industry thought leader.
