Kevin Bacon
Kevin Bacon is one of the foremost actors of his generation. His talent for balancing starring roles with powerful supporting characters in film, television and on stage has allowed him to build a varied and critically acclaimed body of work.
After studying at Circle in the Square Theatre, he debuted in Animal House, followed by iconic roles in Diner and Footloose. His extensive film career includes Tremors, Flatliners, Apollo 13, Mystic River, Crazy, Stupid, Love, X-Men: First Class, Leave the World Behind, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. On TV, he’s appeared in City on a Hill, The Following, and I Love Dick, earning a Golden Globe nomination for the latter.
Upcoming, Bacon will star in the Blumhouse action horror series The Bondsman for Amazon Prime Video in April and in the Netflix limited series Sirens with Julianne Moore in late Spring. He will also be seen starring in the upcoming Michael J. Weithorn-directed film The Best You Can alongside his wife, Kyra Sedgwick. This marks the first time the couple has starred in a film together in twenty years.
Bacon has also directed, with credits like Losing Chase and Loverboy, and has worked on both Broadway and off-Broadway productions. Outside of his acting and directing work, Bacon is a part of the band The Bacon Brothers and founded the charity SixDegrees.org. an organization that encourages people to become a celebrity for their cause by raising funds with a social fundraiser.
