Michael Pizzuto

Native New Yorker/Los Angeles based Creative Executive Michael Pizzuto began his journey in music playing guitar since in early teens. Before and after attending NYU and Five Towns College of Music, he performed in a variety of bands while also booking and promoting shows in NYC and has since enjoyed 30 + years in the music business with hybrid Sync & A&R roles at companies such as Stage Three Music Publishing, The Bicycle Music Company and currently for more than a decade at Concord. Synchronization, the marriage of music with visual media, has always been as much a love and passion for Michael as it is the job. He is also a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame West Coast Committee.

Michael has attended SXSW for many years, the first time performing at Emo’s with his NYC based alternative rock band NUM in 1995.
