Emman Sadorra

Emman Sadorra is a Filipino-American comedy writer born and raised in Los Angeles. Growing up the queer grandson of a Christian pastor, Emman’s complicated relationship with identity drives his desire to find humor in unexpected places. He cut his teeth working in TV development, then became a Showrunner’s Assistant on ABC’s BLACK-ISH and NBC’s KENAN. After being selected for the NBC Writers Program in 2022, Emman staffed as a writer on Peacock’s IN THE KNOW and PITCH PERFECT: BUMPER IN BERLIN. In 2024, Emman was selected by IAMA Theatre Company to develop his coming-of-age stage play, PHOEBE & JESUS 4EVER. Most recently, Emman wrapped up as Story Editor on NBC’s ST. DENIS MEDICAL. An eternal optimist, Emman strives to write stories that help us feel connected by laughing at life’s mysteries together.
