Jamela Mavrakis

Jamela Mavrakis serves as the Partnerships Manager for the Federal Laboratory Consortium, where she oversees the planning of virtual and in-person events, including lab showcases and exhibitor booths, to foster collaboration between federal laboratories and the public sector. Previously, she managed community outreach initiatives for major programs in Austin, TX, managing event logistics, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication. Jamela holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness Promotion from Texas State University and is fluent in Spanish. She is passionate about driving innovation and creating impactful, engaging experiences that promote meaningful collaboration.
