Kathy Liu

Vice president /Head of Osaka at Plug and Play Japan Kathy received her Ph.D. in Law from Kyoto University and worked in the energy sector for several foreign consulting firms before joining Plug and Play Japan in 2021. She has over 10 years of experience in innovation support for large companies, focusing on mid-term business planning, new business strategy, and global strategy, particularly on energy-related companies and manufacturing industries. She also has a deep understanding of Deeptech in the decarbonization and climate tech fields and is currently focusing on forming and promoting the entire innovation ecosystem, in addition to supporting collaboration and business creation between startups and large companies in this area.
