Catherine Cook-Cottone
Catherine Cook-Cottone, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist, Registered Yoga Teacher, Professor at the University at Buffalo (SUNY), and Co-Editor in Chief of Eating Disorders: The Journal of Treatment and Prevention. She has served as a consultant for the Africa Yoga Project and the United Nations Foundation creating and researching a trauma-informed yoga curriculum delivered in Kenya, Somalia, and Rwanda as well as mindfulness-based resilience training for humanitarian workers delivered in North America, Middle East, Eastern Asia, and Africa. She is a trauma-therapist and teaches courses in psychopathology, mindful therapy, psychopathology, advanced counseling techniques, and counseling with children and adolescents.
