Graduated from the University of Osaka with a masters degree in Frontier Biosciences where he pursued his research in molecular biology/neurology at RIKEN.
Joined Headline Asia in 2017, and in addition to his venture investment activities there, he has contributed in organizing the IVS, an exclusive conference attended by approximately 700 executives from various IT companies. He has also launched 17 Media Japan (now 17 LIVE), the largest live-streaming app provider in Japan as one of the founding members, and achieved No. 1 sales in the Japanese live-streaming industry in two years. In 2020, he was appointed CEO of IVS. 12,000 people attended “IVS 2024 KYOTO”, which evolved from an invitation-only conference to an open conference.
