Toshiaki Shimakawa

Principal at Headline Asia and CEO of IVS. While studying at Osaka University’s Graduate School, he conducted research in molecular biology and neuroscience at RIKEN. He joined Headline Asia in 2017, managing investments and organizing “IVS,” a conference bringing together around 700 IT executives. He also played a key role in founding 17LIVE, helping it become Japan’s top-grossing live-streaming platform within two years. In 2020, he became CEO and transformed IVS into a conference with more than 12,000 attendees. Now, he is dedicated to building the new IVS for entrepreneurs.
