Gianluca Chakra

Dubai-based producer and distributor Gianluca Chakra is the founder and CEO of Front Row Filmed Entertainment, created in 2003. Front Row pioneered digital distribution in the Middle East, being the first to release premium VOD titles and partner with platforms like iTunes, GooglePlay, and Netflix. In 2021, Gianluca launched Front Row Productions with Mario Jr Haddad, debuting with Netflix's first Arabic film, Perfect Strangers, sparking a first-look deal. His next release is The Sand Castle, an original drama by Matty Brown. He’s also producing Saudi shorts and Zaid Abu Hamdan's second feature Boomah, with more projects in development.
