Ghaleb Hawila

Ghaleb Hawila is an Arabic calligraphy artist from Tyre, Lebanon, born in 1992. He studied Graphic Design before mastering classical Arabic calligraphy with renowned teachers. Inspired by Middle Eastern heritage and spiritual themes, Ghaleb brings a fresh perspective to this timeless art form. His work, including Nuqta, has been featured at major events like the Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial (2018), the French Institution in Beirut (2020), and the Urban Art Biennale in Germany (2018). His street art can be found in the UK and Beirut, and in 2021, he showcased his work at Dubai Opera with the Khawla Art and Culture Foundation. In 2023, he also participated in an NFT exhibition at ART IN SPACE, Dubai.
