Samantha Matters

Samantha Matters is the Co-Founder and Principal Futurist at Eras Foresight & Consulting Corp., specializing in guiding organizations through sustainable, transformative change for equitable and flourishing futures. With a background in environmental science and strategic foresight, Sam has worked extensively with Indigenous communities and developed expertise in centring Indigenous knowledges in futures thinking. A member of the Métis Nation of Alberta and former Future of Canada Project Fellow, Sam has shared her insights globally, including at the Dubai Future Forum. At Eras Foresight, Sam leads efforts to create strategies that honour ancestral wisdom and future generations, aiming to position the consultancy as Canada’s leading foresight firm.
