Malaika Vaz

Malaika Vaz is a filmmaker, TV presenter and National Geographic Explorer based in New York. She is also the cofounder and CEO of Untamed Planet, a production company behind award-winning films and series for the BBC, National Geographic, Al Jazeera, Sky, PBS and more. Her recent work as a film director, host and investigative journalist explores stories of nature, wildlife, climate, migration and the human footprint on our planet. She recently won the Best On-Screen Talent award at Wildscreen and was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for North America.
